Indeed, the latest issue that deserves to be criticized is the construction of the National Capital City (IKN) which will shift from Java Island to Kalimantan Island, precisely located in Sepaku District, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The state of infrastructure is the main highlight so that it is necessary to strengthen development in the border area in all aspects. Therefore, the HATARU 2022 committee chose “Strengthening the Development of State Border Areas in Kalimantan Island as a Support for the IKN Nusantara Region” as the theme of the activity.
